Last week, I googled Stina for signs of life, and came across Julie Ann Baezinger, who records under the name Sea of Bees. I haven't studied the lyrics yet, but I like her sound so much that I think it's worth sharing. Video for her song Wizbot here.

Yeah I'd love to check it out. I finally managed to see them live a couple months back and loved it - I can barely play piano and think at the same time, Yoni played piano with one hand, drums with the other, and sang. Still not sure how that's possible.

Yes, Buck65! I really like his album "Square" (four 15-minute songs), and my favorite song is Devil's Eyes (not on Square) even though it's more alternative than rap. Good stuff though, and I'm glad to hear he's getting listens from others on the forum.

I listen to Stina because of her albums, not because of individual songs

The Top 10 Stina Songs thread got me thinking: Even though ASCHE and PAS are my two favorite albums ever, I rarely put any of her songs on mix cds. To me, Dynamite has maybe two or three songs I'd listen to by themself, though ...

Three listens in, and M.I.A.'s Kala is my favorite cd of the year so far.
