Re: Men

Yes she was amazing in Broadchurch, the end when she found out who the killer was .. omg, one of the most heartbreaking bits of acting I've seen. She is hilarious too though of course, I must just post this clip from 'Letters Live', where she has been a regular performer. :-D https://www.youtube.com...

Re: How are you today?

Yes, I love the friendships that have grown out of this community. Correspondence between Beth and me would wax and wane over the years, til it really increased a while back. I really treasure our friendship and am still amazed I was in Scotland just under a year ago! Funny (and I suppose a little ...

Re: Men

Is this one I probably shouldn't watch, Rob? The most recent film I saw at the cinema was Sam Mendes' new one, Empire of Light, with the ever amazing Olivia Coleman in the central role. It's set as 1980 turns into 1981, a time I remember well as it was a particularly traumatic one for me, ...

Re: Let's Eat Grandma

Oh I see you! ^ Looking good for a 97 year old Rob, wonderful that you're still getting out to gigs. :D

I like the girl at the beginning having a lay down on the stage, it must get tiring playing gigs. :D

Re: How are you today?

London is only a train ride away, although personally I think you should all come to Scotland. I do agree. It would be a good reason for me to finally make it to Scotland and visit this nice country. 8) Btw, it's nice to have good news from you, I remember it hasn't always been easy for y...

Well I watched the one you posted here, maybe that's why? The one that popped up on my youtube was a live performance from two years ago.

Re: How are you today?

Hello Beth, lovely to read your message. You should do one every Christmas Day as I understand that there's a vacancy now !! That was nice for you and Angie to meet up like that...it kind of makes up for having missed out on the London meet-up all those years ago. Yeah it was so lovely to spend that...

Re: How are you today?

Hope you are all doing well, let's see some posts here - catch up time, I mean are you all still alive? We've just been through a pandemic, I need reassurance. Still alive in my case (just, I get my bus pass next year  ), but the SN action seems to have largely migrated to FB - yours...

Re: personal links...

Oh I like that track Franck, the mood / energy changes especially, and your singer has a great voice. Something a little Radiohead-ish at times, in the feeling of it? Older RH I mean, I haven't kept up with their last couple of albums.

Hi folks, it's my annual post, yay! Rob I hadn't even noticed the location in my profile, I'll get on that now. Well I've been back in Scotland for over a year now, and am very happily settled. I had a visitor from America back at the end of May / beginning of June this year, none othe...

Re: How are you today?

Dropping in for my yearly post, just to say I made it! Moved back to Scotland in June this year, finally. 😎❤️ I ended up getting a flat in the very street I was born in, no less, where I lived with my beloved grandmother till I was three. 🙂 It hasn't changed at all, there probably isn't another stre...

Re: How are you today?

If I manage to get back home at long last you will be very welcome, whichever of you want to come and stay. 😅👍 My little home town is right on the River Clyde, and the west coast of Scotland is quite beautiful. Within easy reach of Glasgow and the Western Isles, lots to do and see.

Re: How are you today?

Gorgeous pic. 💖 I'm desperate to get back up home for a bit, having been due to go up at the beginning of April to look at two flats in my hometown. Lockdown scuppered that. 😣

Tip for deterring midges: Avon Skin So Soft body oil. They hate it for some reason. 😅
