Re: The Björk Thread
Well, I've actually spent a few hours yesterday wondering if that was good or plain stupid to do that. In a way, coming to China and shout this to an audience from a culture she doesn't have a clue about and talk about such a complicated matter as Tibet Independance doesn't seem deeply intelligent t...

Re: Elfy's first movie: ''Of Shadows and Men''
Thanks!
Actually, they said that they selected 65 films out of the 1200 they received!
So yes, I'm pretty happy about it!
And I am now more and more planning to go there!

Re: must see hear
:) Really? That's funny, actually she owes me a bunch of tickets from the Lamb era. I wrote them a personal letter years ago and they had promised me free tickets to replace the cancellation of their gig in Glasgow... :D What about her? How is she? Hasn't she turned kind of hippie New-age in the las...

That's indeed all i can hope for...
It's pretty selfish to use the last money we have to go there but it would be livin' the dream... You never know if that may happen again.

One of my all time favourite songs...

Re: Elfy's first movie: ''Of Shadows and Men''
Hello! I have some pretty cool news! My film has been selected to be screened at the international festival of “Full Frame Documentary Film Festival“ in Durham, North Carolina, U.S.A. !! Ok, the film has also been refused by 3 other festivals so far but hey, that's still really cool! Here's the webs...

Re: ERIN LANG
Looking back at it, it's pretty New Age like!
Which reminds me a fantastic quote from a Utah Phillips song:
''No matter how ''New age'' you get, old age is gonna kick your ass!''

Re: Tales Of Earthsea
That's funny, that's exactly why the late Myazaki films don't do it for me!! I hate it when evil has to look evil, why the meanies always have to be stupid and have a big ugly nose??sound world wrote: I can't take fantasy witches etc seriously for very long.

Re: Tales Of Earthsea
well, i didn't find that one so amazing although it's a good movie nevertheless. I remember an incredible bit of animation though: when the wind and clouds start covering the sky, you really get a shiver and a real feeling of the wind hitting you in the back. So incredibly well done. Worth to mentio...

Franck,
that's really a cool teaser!!!!
Really, i don't think I have seen much teasers for a cd, but this one is really really cool.
Love the work on the images and the editing and all that. Really nice!
How did you do the first photograph of you falling on the floor, that's pretty impressive!

Re: The Björk Thread
Well, I also agree about the great sense of robbing fans out of their money strategy that they have had since the huge Boxset era (best of, family tree, live box, single box, etc). Still disagree about Volta being rubbish and not worked on. Definitely not my feeling. But well, we can't agree on ever...

Re: ERIN LANG
Well, Aermancer, today doesn't seem to be a day where we'll share tastes! I really don't think Erin Lang seems as cottonly aneasthesic as Mazzy Star does. To me it sounds fresh. Although i didn't say she was sheer genious blowing your heart in 1001 pieces shattered all over the universe. But ...
