Re: Lira the fox cub

Rob, I thought of your brave action when I saw the following photos. You've saved a great animal!

Re: Stina Live aged 20 !!!

Great find. And indeed strange how confident Stina is in this clip with performing live and with a camera. It is really a shame that she turned away from that confidence in her later work.

Give Me More Of Everthing

I hadn't heard this track yet but just found it online, through the forumthread that was posted.... I thought this track deserved it's own thread. I really love it. The violins have a bit of the atmosphere of the tracks Stina did with Fleshquartet. http://sclors.tumblr.com/post/40897837779/give-me-m...

Re: How are you today?

Ugh Beth what a horrible story about that storemanager. It almost makes me ashamed to be a manager as well, knowing there are people who really dislike me too. [b)]

Re: Goldfrapp

Really, I was really underwhelmed by the last album... I do love Felt Mountain. And Clowns from the Seventh Tree is stunning.

Re: Spotify

Okay, good to see that her albums are available in Sweden on Spotify. I guess that Telegram Records is handling Stina's releases in Sweden?

In The Netherlands only TISN and TWIS are listenable. The singles Parliament Square and Get On With Your Life are also on Spotify.

Re: Spotify

I also noticed that Stina's Warner albums are not available for download on iTunes. I bet she'd love to see it released, because TWIS is available.

Re: Spotify

Yeah, and for a lot of younger people spotify is the main way to listen to music. And the Beatles have already made enough money for the rest of their lives. Stina still needs every penny she can make, I suppose.

Spotify

I just registered myself at Spotify and became a paying member recently. Stina's two last albums (TWIS en TISN) are available for streaming. But all the albums released under the EastWest label are not available in Spotify. It is really sad to see that Warner Music doesn't make Stina's music availab...

Re: How are you today?

Not being a eurovisionfan, this year I'm really proud that The Netherlands made it into the top ten of the final with a rather beautiful and sad song.

Re: How are you today?

Beth, that is indeed a wonderful story. And very convenient that they called you at this time to offer you a job. Karma. ^
