your top 5 TV shows

Post by alx5962 »

what's your favourite tv shows ?
I really watch them a lot and I'm always trying to discover new ones.

So here's my top 5:
1 - The wire
2 - Dexter
3 - Lost
4 - Fringe
5 - Arrested development

I really enjoyed the first 24 seasons but at the end it was so lame, unluckily...laughable even !

ps: I know that's not a big picture thread but who cares ?
I believe in your smile everyday
But I know that you're far from my way
When I talk to the moon I can hear you
In the dark I can see, I can feel your light

I don't watch TV except for-

University Challenge
Antiques Roadshow
The Simpsons

plus the occasional documentary about indigenous peoples
and Table Tennis on the rare occasions when it's shown.

My son watches Top Gear and QI so I sometimes see bits of those. I would happily avoid Top Gear though, if I could.

Whenever I'm unlucky enough to see a bit of 'Britain's Got Strictly Brother' or suchlike, I feel like an alien must feel visiting Earth. [b)]

Antiques Roadshow ? I never heard about that one but after some research I found out it was about antiques  damn, it must be boring to watch for sure... but I've always been fascinated by so called boring shows, they have an hypnotizing effect usually.

BTW, It's nice to discover your passion about table tennis :D

I seldom watch tv either,....i much prefer watching a dvd.

And when i do watch a good tv show, i'll get it on dvd anyway.

Currently, the only show i make a note of watching is Hustle.
In a couple of months time the F1 racing will begin again so that will be another 'must stay in and watch' programme.
But thats about it really. I avoid all reality shows and soaps like the plague. I use to watch The Bill but even thats finished now.

If it wasn't for the pc, i don't think i'd bother with a tv licence now.
