It was 45 years ago today that the Beatles spent the day recording their debut album, 'Please Please Me'.
Bet old Paul couldn't have imagined that day that in 45 years time he would be spending the day in court facing his second wife (who wouldn't even be born for another five years) arguing over how many millions he was going to have to fork out as part of their divorce settlement?
I wonder if he'll burst out singing 'I Saw Her Standing There' and 'Money' whilst he's there?
Or will it be 'Misery'?

Let's hope he has the wisdom to think 'Let it be'.

Actually if you play the track 'Please please me' backwards at 78 rpm,you can hear the words :-
"When I find myself in times of trouble,Mother Mary comes to me,speaking words of wisdom
'Ring your solicitor and ask him to bring the chequebook to the courthouse'."

Please Please Me is such a great little album. Can't believe it was so long ago.
