Okay, this thread is not really about a mixtape but it sounds so much more cooler than a mixcd, don't you think?
As it is not very likely that there'll be any new stina material soon, perhaps we need to stir things up a bit. At least then we'll have something to discuss. The thing we have in common on this board is that we all are very passionate about music. So we should get to know each other better through the individual taste in music.
My idea is basically that we each could compile a mixalbum with serveral tracks that we like. That way we might discover new music and have something to discuss here. And you don't have to be writing on this board on an everyday basis to participate in this.
My idea is that we could send the cd's all to the persons who'd like to to hear the music some other boardmember thinks is special. So who is up for this? And whose taste in music would you be most curious about?
Oh they do this on the Tori forum, it's a great way to check out music you wouldn't normally hear. Dunno if anyone would be interested in my favourite stuff though, it's mostly classical.

Its a nice idea Paul but personally, i'm far too lazy. Its far easier just to list a bunch of links of fave music on You Tube.
Actually, thinking about it, i'm too lazy to do that as well.
I do this with a good friend of mine back in the UK, we send each other music and then review it and score each song out of 10. It can actually be very funny, especially when she hates something passionately!!

Shows you how clued up i am with whats happening in the charts these days.
Most of what i buy is either non-chart type material or if it is chart material (i'm currently playing Kate Nash's debut a lot in the car),its always several years after its left the chart.
