Gravity

Post by RobB »

I've just pre-ordered Gravity on blu-ray....its being released in the UK on 3rd March.

I never saw the film at the cinema (I haven't been for years) but have seen various clips and it certainly looks impressive. Apparently its won several awards at this years BAFTA's.

I quite like George Clooney (he was brilliant in that other sci-fi epic, Solaris), so it will be interesting to see him return to outer space again. :)

I really enjoyed it. But then I'm quite a fan of slow moving sci-fi films (Solaris, Moon, 2001, Gattaca, Sunshine etc) so I wouldn't exactly recommend it to someone who likes the Star Wars films for example.

What did you think of it?

You don't want to know! :D Really, that's the best way to put it.

On the other hand "Dallas Buyers Club" is a great movie!
"The Wolf of Wall Street", nah, read the book instead.

I really have to write down and rate the movies I "watch" (read ....... stream).

You weren't keen then? ;)

I have to be honest and say I haven't heard of the other film titles you mention.
