Emma Nordenstam has released a new album of children's songs togetether with Karl-Jonas Winqvist (on the label Brus & knaster). It's called "Huset" ("The House"). I think all of Emma's albums are good, and this one is no exception if you like folky Swedish indie music. But as an added bonus the press release lists Stina Nordenstam as one of the string players.
On the song "När jag blundar ser jag hundar" ("When I Close my Eyes I see dogs") Stina plays the violin part. Here is the video: https://youtu.be/xSRqj6qVD5s
I attended the super nice release party last week, where many of the musicians on the record performed songs from it, but Stina's part was (as one might have expected) played by two other violin players.
You're sure one of the violinists wasn't wearing a wig?
Well, that video was pretty underwhelming. Like an episode of 'Play School', only not nearly as good. I'd give all of Emma's vapid twaddle for one song by Stina. [b)]

Thank you for the info, that is quite a surprise. As a fan of Emma's music myself, I'd love to hear the sisters duet together. I think their voices would totally compliment each other.
I tried to buy a copy of the new album last week but got confused with the Swedish website.
