you should so save that line and show it to your kid when he's like 16..no earlier, he might grow up with complexes...

aw..you make me want to be a housewife, sounds like you wouldn't mind that profession now.
and its so good when we rememeber the pain of pregnancy we don't feel it!

Well, don't misunderstand me, I don't think I could be a housewife, I'd probably go insane (more than I already am anyway  ). I enjoy living my babyboy, but it's really hard work and I have no time for anything else. Yesterday for instance he has cried A LOT, with breaks but a lot, and you could see he was really tired and needed to sleep, despairing...today I didn't have 10 minutes to wash myself yet!!! I definitely don't mind my job very much, that's true, because it is just work for me, a decent way to earn my living, but it's not what I really wanna do with my life. I have to come back, got a promotion just before I left, but I still think that 3 months is too soon to leave a baby, how is it possible that our society is organized this way?

You certainly have a lot more patience than my parents had.
When I was a baby, if I cried for more than 10 minutes they use to stick me in the pram and wheel me up to the top of the garden and leave me there to get on with it.

No wonder I have a great love for the outdoors now.

Bah, I could be more patient yet, I'm learning.
With babies there are different theories, but I find really cruel to just ignore a baby crying, especially if you're not sure of what's going on first. You learn very quickly when it's a serious cry or something that's gonna fade out quickly, but if a baby is crying constantly for a certain amount of time you must ALWAYS go check what's wrong
Maybe I am a softie, but it hurts my heart to hear him cry.
Today's being a great quiet day, gonna have a tea :)

When me and my twin sister cried at night, my father used to put us in the car and take a little drive in town. It used to work. :)
