As a Beatles fan whenever I see that its January 30th, I always think of the Beatles performing on the roof of their Apple HQ in Saville Row, London, as shown at the end of their 'Let It Be' film.
Hard to believe that it was 38 years ago this lunchtime.

That was some gig.
I love the 'Let it be' film,with its fly-on-the-wall honesty,not the usual 'Hey we're the zany fun Beatles ' approach-after all the frustrations and arguing and rummy versions of tunes in the studio,they get up on the roof,play their last ever gig and give passers-by and people in neighbouring buildings a moment to remember.'Thank you very much and I 'ope we pass the audition'.
