MSN interview with T - she's more than usually coherent in this one, it's quite interesting. Doesn't make me buy any of this concept bullshit, but she looks gorgeous and I love the way she speaks:

Unfortunately the interview keeps pausing every 15 seconds for 5 seconds which is rather frustrating.....I stuck it out for three minutes and then had to click off.

She doesn't look too bad for 43 although like Ms.Bush, she obviously applies her make up with a trowel.

It didn't pause at all for me Rob, but some people on other boards are having trouble getting it to work at all. Technology.

She didn't seem all that heavily made up to me, if anything she seems a bit more natural-looking than she has for a while. I'm surprised to see she's still a redhead, though - given the condition of her hair and the fact she's wearing all these wigs, I assumed maybe she had quit dyeing it to let it recover. She looks stunning with her natural dark hair.

She's so charming in this interview. Things like this make me remember why I love her so much, even though I hate what she's become musically in the past couple of years.

I'll try the interview again next week when perhaps the easter on-line traffic as died off.

I'm sure Tori is dying her hair cos at 43 she should be going grey by now.

An interviewer around the Beekeeper era mentioned that she was graying at the temples.

I'm just worried she'll have no hair left by the time she's 45 if she doesn't let up on the dyeing.

) if this has been mentioned before but 'Bouncing Off Clouds' is to be the first single in Europe.

Yes, two singles for different territories this time, and 'Bouncing Off Clouds' has just been added to BBC Radio 2's playlist which is good news for the album.

'Big Wheel' is having problems in America, though - several radio stations are refusing to play it because of the MILF line.

i'm still not liking the new live stuff but i've never been a huge fan of her rambling piano songs. (Here In My Head, Sister Named Desire, Sister Janet, Upside Down, Graveyard, Baker Baker, Peeping Tommi, Frog on my Toe). they all sound sort of the same to me. it's hard to distinguish between them all.

i don't want to necessarily say that they are fodder, but anyone can come up with a nice piano piece. it's her flair she adds to most of the album songs that make them special. and im just not feeling the new stuff.

I just .... words fail me, for once.

You should love this new album then, being as it's Rawk-Tori. Personally I adore meadering-solo-piano-epic Tori, she's my favourite one of all. But I doubt we'll be seeing much of her in future, which should delight you.

XD no i won't like the new album. it's just hard to explain. i love every tori song from all the albums except The Beekeeper. except Baker Baker.

I came across a trip-hop remix of Bells For Her, not sure whether it is official (i don't think it is) but it's actually rather lovely and spooky...

I've got that, it's rather gorgeous. One of the better fan remixes out there.

The best one though is 'Me And A Gun'. I hesitated to get this one at first because I just couldn't believe that interfering with that track in any way would result in anything but disaster. However after reading so much positive reaction to it on @ I went ahead and I'm so glad I did - it's heartbreakingly poignant, gives another emotional perspective on the track altogether. I remember a lot of people wanted to get in touch with Tori about it to see if she would consider putting it on an official release, but nothing came of it.

Sacrilege!! Such a gorgeous song. I love the alternate version on 'A Piano', with that little string intro. Adds an extra poignancy to it.

In my head this song has a video made by Tim Burton in which the line 'can you explain if truly his heart was made of icing' takes on a macabre slant possibly not envisaged by the writer.
