Ok, what's going on with Bjork? I haven't bought her albums in a long time so I don't really know in which phase she is now. I like the video of Earth intruders I saw on tv, the beats and sounds were more tribal than the last things of her I heard, but I can't say if I like the song or not yet...

does anyone else think Nameless got the shaft? Sure she released it on DR9, but Storm is really nothing like the solemn, eerie Nameless. it was just 5 live recordings jammed together with a bunch of shit sound effects spread thick on top.

It should have been its own single or something. Japanese artists do that sort of thing all the time so i don't see why she couldn't do it. (well, i guess that would be like an EP in the west)

Hmmm, for me this is the end of Björk. I already gave away my Medulla album because I just couldn't stand to listen to it. Drawing Restraint was awful also. Earth Intruders seemed a bit promising but the rest of the album is a letdown. I'm shocked by the fact that Björk is able to fuck up two songs with Antony. That man is brilliant, I adore his to two records.

Sometimes I think that I'm becoming more mainstream... all those indie artists that I liked in the nineties.... they're like friends that you are slowly losing contact with. It makes me sad... but maybe I'm just growing old. [what] [:xx]

hey everyone! i just got back from Denver yesterday. i went to see Björk at Red Rocks!!

here's a bunch of pictures from the concert (i didn't take them, someone else who was there did). i was in row 14 center, next to the soundboards, it was an AMAZING concert. the speakers were so huge and loud you could feel the bass smashing into your body. the loudest songs were the best, (army of me, innocence, hyperballad-pluto, DECLARE INDEPENDENCE) everyone in the crowd was jumping to the music. the lasers were also awesome.















































the setlist was great, too. i was crossing my fingers for Nameless and An Echo A Stain the whole time, but it was just wishful thinking

medulla is an ok album, just not perfect
but the concept was amazing
