Sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time again, Sara. Life hasn't been very easy for you at all these past few years. However, you have two healthy children and a partner to share life's troubles with, which is more than some folk are blessed with in this life.

Well, I'm a beast for not asking what's going on with you these days... Life has been testing me I assume, but I don't have so much resilience anymore, it took me so long but I've finally asked for help, I can't take it anymore.
My children are healthy and are not, I mean, Iker is hyper but has been sick for almost 2 months and nobody knew what it was, we had to run to the e.r., change our doc, bah and bah. And Ryuu has reflux, so meds before each feeding and a lot of puking Thank god it's the lightest form. What really broke me are his sleeping problems, he's 6 months old now and just won't sleep through a whole night (the first two months he was crying constantly day and night and he slept only over me), even less now with ear infection!
I am getting used to work again and it's good to leave home at last, but I still have a very gloomy feeling about my position in the company. If Ryuu keeps exhausting me at night anyway, I doubt I will be able to cope, honestly... [b)] And yet I can't imagine my life without children and I wouldn't mind having more, in the future. I have to hold on for now...

Which island did you stay on Dave?
I know last year on St.Marys I was quite surprised at how many cars there were driving around compared to say thirty years ago.
Then again it was August so I guess it was busier all round.

We always go to Agnes,the most Westerly/Southerly/wild and rugged of the group.St Mary's is like a big city by comparison.

I think i've been to Agnes about once but thats a long time ago so I don't really remember too much about it. Sounds like an ideal place to get away from it all though.

Oh, nothing much. Same old same old. I wasn't having a personal dig Sara, I just know how easy it is to feel completely overwhelmed by gloom when life isn't running smoothly. The tendency is to focus on everything that's bringing you donw, and forget the bigger picture. It's difficult, but sometimes it can help to just take a deep breath, remember that all the negative stuff isn't going to last forever, and that in the bigger scheme of things you're still a lot better off than some poor souls in this world. Looking at things that way has helped me through sometimes.

Wise words Beth but I guess we all know what its like to be tired and depressed (we're all going to experience that feeling at sometime in our lives,assuming that we're 'normal' people living 'normal' lives?) and it is so difficult to step out of the situation when we're stuck right in the middle of it.
I've had my own fair share of 'dark periods' in the past and it would have been so much easier to have coped with if I only had known then what I know now. [b)]
