As I said above, the simplest answer would be to contact the blogger and ask him/her where the pic came from. I'd do it but I don't have time right now.

Just thinking about it, her hair was long like that when 'The World Is Saved' was released - look at the cover photos, for comparison. Is it possible she was contemplating playing live for that record, and this was maybe a dress rehearsal or try-out, to see how she felt? Perhaps for the record company? This is one context in which artists often play live private gigs.

Well yeah, though he/she may well have just stumbled across it online and not have a clue of the origin themselves. Worth a try though. Rob?

I'd never use Google Translate, the results don't make any sense at all. I'd rather just write him in English and hope that if he doesn't speak it himself he'll have a friend or relative who does, than send him some bizarre message in garbled Spanglish that he'll never understand.

Haven't had any reply today but he may not have read his email yet, let's hope he gets in touch at some point.

Vero has verified on the old board that the Dublin gig indeed was planned. And I can't find the interview but I think that there was an interview in which stina told that she was bringing a band together for a tour, but decided not to because she rather spend her energy on creating new music than repeating the old songs.

A shame really, the live in fasching mp3's show that's a good live performer.

The picture was taken on 12/03/2007 at 22:11:04 using a canon powershot a520 (from exif infos inside it) so it cannot be Stina

What is it that makes you sure it isn't Stina, from that information? Sorry I'm not immediately seeing what you mean, Alex?

I'm assuming you mean because of the date, it being a couple of years after TWIS was released? But then there's nothing to say Stina didn't play some sort of private gig at that time, unrelated to the album release/promo.

We need to do some detective work and see if Emma played a gig on that date, just to rule her out. It really doesn't look like her to me but the possibility is there.

Stina live at this time is almost impossible and I checked online about a gig that night and of course no trace of Stina too here.

just published a spanish comment on the blog, another person also asked about this live photo there so maybe we'll know more soon (my spanish is very rusty but I still understand some sentences by chance )

Why is it impossible for her to have played live at that time? Sorry for being particularly dim this evening, Alex, but I still don't see what you mean.

If it was a private gig there wouldn't be any public record of it, would there? That would sort of defeat the object.

I just did a search on Emma and can't find anything useful really apart from her myspace page, which doesn't contain much. I did an image search too and it's frustrating because there are pics of both Emma and Stina coming up, along with women who clearly are neither of them!

A couple of the profile shots of Emma *did* look very much like Stina though, so it's probably Emma in that pic.
