'This Is', for me. Such diverse moods, some of my all-time favourite Stina songs. Has to be.

'This is' is a good album but the more I hear it the more I hate the production which makes Stina sound like a robot,stripping her of humanity and surrounding her with more robots (in massively compressed sound,yuck).
Gimme the tapes! and I will show the world how 'This is' should sound!!

Now thats strange cos to these ears Stina singing sounds so natural on the "This Is" album.....Stina's voice has never sounded so clear and melodic and she's absolutely brimming with confidence,a confidence thats seems lacking on previous albums where her voice is smothered in reverb and every other production disguising techinque.

And those inventive ambient instrumental sounds means that even four years after first listening to the album,I'm still hearing new stuff for the first time.

Tchad Blake and Mitchell Froom did a superb job with "This Is"....its a great shame that there seems little chance of Stina working with them again.

Well I can only echo Rob's comments - I love the sound of 'This Is', to my ears it sounds wonderfully warm and human and alive.

Oh well.
If anthing is coming from all these recent polls ,it's that we're all very different in our listening prefs .And that's fine! Vive la difference!
