i was pretty geared up when i heard the news. i REALLY liked Amnesiac and bits of the two albums before. got to listen to it last week and...

well, that's a little hard. i bought 'black swan' on iTunes, but i does resemble an old r'head song... can't remember the title though. the opening two tracks aren't bad either and the story behind ' harrowdown hill' is interesting. but as a whole... i dunno... too fidgety and lacking real knockout melodies. but thommy's voice is clear and up front.

btw. henry rollins's show is a blast... witty, sarcastic, good music, interviews without dumb questions...

'Black Swan' seems to be a standout track for a lot of people so far, both fans and critics. I'm intrigued that Thom's voice seems to be more upfront in this record than on the previous few Radiohead albums, according to some reviews. That alone will probably make me buy it, regardless of the music.


PS Red, could you remove that disgusting picture you've substituted for the Thom pic over the page? Seriously, it's making me feel ill. I know I upset you going on about the Portugese team during the world cup, but I said sorry!!
