Let's turn this discussion in another direction.
I'm really fed up with the fact that you can't say it out loud if you dislike a certain person or so. You always have to explain why you dislike a certain person. In my case that's sometimes hard because I'm an intuitive person. I trust my feelings when I meet someone new. Sometimes my initial feelings are proved wrong. I have no hard time admitting that.

Why wouldn't it be allowed to hate black people, white people, christian people, thin people, gay people etcetera? Isn't that just an opinion? I really think that it's fine when people hate blacks. Imho that's a little narrow minded but it's allowed. So no explanations needed.

In fact: I wouldn't want to hear an explanation for hating black people. Simply because those opinions I'm not interested in. I'm not interested in people who are racist. And that makes me as uninterested in racists as they are in people with a different skincolor.

Same for me ! I used to have no tv at home, but since a few months i hardly watch it, and when I do, I quickly become angry against most everything I see and hear in that awful lil' box : that is no longer my world.

Hate is mostly a negative energy,but,put to good use it can be a positive energy.
To take one example,if people hadnt hated Hitler and his fascist naziism and just thought "Oh well,its a free world,fair play to yer mate",well fuck knows what life would be like now...

not quite hate, but misplaced anger and misunderstanding of some kind is the following story i found:
There's a 'riot' going on in a new development neighborhood in a town in the northeast of the Netherlands where this guy built an ecological friendly home of recycled material and is know being booed away by his neighbors and the local goverment because it's taking too long to build and it's decreasing the worth of the other houses

These new developments are usually very boring with all the same type of white trash housing if i may put it that way. It's also funny that people go to great lenghts trying to get this guy out, because it's different and it's something that doesn't fit in their own boring lives. Originally however the whole neighborhood was going to consist of ecological housing, but when there was no interest they sold the plots just for normal housing. So the neigbors knew what they were getting themselves into...

I must agree though that it's not a very pretty house, but the same can be said of the dull 'catalogue' houses surrounding it; and then the prices... get me out of this place!
