'It Happened One Night' is such an under-rated movie IMHO, I think it may be Capra's best, but of course the one everyone loves is 'It's A Wonderful Life'.
'Rebecca' is a real old favourite of mine, such a glorious rainy afternoon movie. The atmosphere is so brilliantly done, it's one of the few movies-from-novels that holds up to the book.

I watched this one for the first time yesterday afternoon as it was showing on TV - am I wrong or is the film 'Body Heat', with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt, a remake of this? The plot seems basically the same, but I didn't realise Body Heat was a remake.
Surprised at what a fox Barbara Stanwyck is in the original. Girl had it goin' on.

Thats a good film but a tad overrated I think.
But at least its got Virginia Astley's 'A Summer Long Since Passed' over the end credits which certainly justify's having the dvd.
I picked it up on a friends recomendation, and I loved Me And You And Everyone We Know, it had something really charming about it, and I loved how it really wove the characters together. I managed to get it for $10 exrental here and really pleased I got it. I was dismayed to hear that the director had such an uphill battle to make the film that she has vowed never to make another one.

Do you have the 3-disc edition of Memento, Paul? There's an option to watch the film in chronological order if you can find it, which gives an interesting slant on events.
