I really do like Treat Me Nice, made it worth forking out that horrible import duty in the UK (yes thank you Mr Postman you made my day, really ) just to get the Japanese copy. Wonder why they didn't put it out as a b-side on PAS single? Would rather have had that than the awful technoanimal remix

Does anyone know what happened to the 28 alleged different versions of Purple Rain?

28 recorded versions of the song by other artists I can believe but 28 versions/remixes by Stina?

Yeah I am sure I remember reading that she recorded the track in around 28 different ways before settling on the album mix we all know. It sort of backs up what my friend said about her recording methods!!

Well,if I'd have been the engineer I would have ended the session being completely bald.

I think I need to give PAS a listen, it's probably the least troubled of Stina's albums, I never took to it as a whole album, I preferred it dissected

I guess being the album that followed Dynamite (which I have played so many times) it seemed like a tall order to follow...

Dynamite and PAS are very different.

And then came This Is, which I hated at first (got a sampler in July 2001 or so)

I just don't think Treat Me Nice would fit the feel of the whole album. I do love Come To Me, too. It's kind of important to me in life. Treat Me Nice I could live without. It never impressed me much.
