Too right.The showing I went to had tons of teens and kids,and the first ten minutes of the film was almost inaudible due to their chattering (why do they come?),and every fifteen minutes or so I got hit by bits of popcorn that someone thought it was hilarious to throw.
At the end of the film,a girl three or four rows ahead of us got an entire tub of popcorn thrown all over her.
I just felt sorry for the cleaners.Plus the film was making a point about looking after the environment.

and ironically,in the end credits that you missed Dave -HAHA-Homer finds a pile of "floor popcorn" and starts eating it,which caused a huge EEEEEEYYYYYUUUUUUCCKK from the audience who had all just been eating that shite. [b)] That sickly sweet smell makes me wanna retch.
But it wqs strange to watch a tv program in a huge room full of people laughing practically the whole time,even through the poignant, thoughtful scenes.
But all in all,a very enjoyable film,and the kids loved it.Roll on the "sequel"

Going to see it tomorrow with my (grown up) offspring and a group of her pals, hopefully they're too old now for the popcorn-chucking antics but I wouldn't put it past them.

Actually, I'm rather heartened to hear that kids today are still throwing popcorn, and not knives.

My partners kids went to see the film last night and the little one came back full of seeing Bart's willy ......that was the highlight of the film for her.

I don't mind popcorn,Barrett,except the vast vats of it they sell at cinemas ought to put anyone off the taste after getting a third of the way down (and make them want to chuck it at others,no doubt).

Have you seen the original or the dubbed version? I've seen the dubbed and I thought the thing of La Marseillaise was done just for the French audience and in the original it was the American hymn.

Loved it.

I did wonder briefly whether it could be sustained over that length of time, but of course they did a brilliant job. It did feel so strange though watching it on the big screen with a crowd of people. Really odd.
