I'm a new user. I thought that I'd just introduce myself here even though this is Matt's thread.

Hm, so what should I say.. Well, I'm a 14 year old girl. I come from Norway and is relatively new to the mysterious world of Stina Nordenstam.

Welcome appelsinjuice. Feel free to share this thread. I'm 18 years old and I come from England. I haven't been on this forum long, so I'm a newbie aswell. I love discovering new artists (especially Scandinavian) rather than listening to mainstream radio, so that's how I discovered Stina. I am quite late to her music aswell but I'm a fast learner and own all six albums and I know alot about her.

Like me, I bet none of your friends have heard of Stina.

I also dislike hiphop and extreme mainstream pop.

I'll have to do a search later, I don't think I've heard of him before.

I've been getting rather obsessed with paintings lately, probably because I'm going to be studying visual art next year for the final year of my degree, and I seem to have a thing about interiors with lone female figures. My favourite one is by Edward Hopper, also featuring a woman sewing. It's called 'Summer Interior', just a girl sitting in her room mending the hem of the dress she's wearing (it's not an everyday dress, so she's obviously going out somewhere special.) Something about it really gets me.
