After more searches, I'm almost sure that's not Emma too, as she was blonde in march 2007 and later !
And in every live pictures I found, she never played that kind of guitar too.

How interesting, so that pretty much rules her out then. Which is intriguing because nobody else looks that much like Stina.

Dunno if this helps, but in that pic she's playing a D major chord on the guitar.

I could trawl through every Stina song (with guitar) and find all the ones with D chords, and we could make a guess at which song 'Stina' is singing.

I was just hunting around Google images for 'Emma Nordenstam' and on page 4 there's a pic of the singer in one of my bands (also called Emma) with a link to our band.
Nice to be tenuously linked with Stina through a few online connections.

Had a look but the only pics I'm getting all seem to come from Emma's myspace page. What's your band called?

Well,whoever the lady in the photo is, at least she's given us something to discuss.

I agree with Alex about Emma having been blonde in recent years so i don't think it would have been her in 2007.

Looking at the photo again, the lady is wearing a very un-Stina like outfit. I can't recall a time when Stina ever wore that kind of dress.

Open to interpretation possibly..... the side table,with table light and two glasses,one full, one empty.

The top looks the to be the same colour and material as the skirt part.....it looks like one of those crinkly crinoline type dresses,.....not that i'm an expert on these matters naturally.

A friend of mine's partner is a guitarist so i got him to have a look at the photo. Here's some of his observations:

The guitar is a (21 fret) Mexican Telecaster (22 frets would have indicated a USA model).

Not sure of colour due to lighting but could be salmon pink or red.

Lady is fingering a D Major chord (as Dave identified) and is probably about to play a D sus4 chord or down to a C add9 or a G (no 3rd) chord as her third finger is hovering in readiness. This assumes that she's using standard tuning (low to high E, A, D, G, B, E.)

She's using a right angled guitar jack. 9 time out of 10 most regular guitar leads are straight so this indicates that the lead is short and running into a wireless unit attached to her or to a pedal board on the floor.

Observing her right hand, she is using a light to medium guage pick due to the tension in her hand and that she strums from her elbow more than her wrist indicating that she's more use to playing an acoustic guitar at home,possibly in folk/country style.

I bet 3 to 1 it's a D sus 4 coming up, and it's Emma playing it.

I thought that was a Telecaster, but it looked a bit cheapo (a Fender Doncaster )

I'm almost certain it ain't Stina but her sis, or an imposter. I searched through Google images for 'Stina live', 'Nordenstam live', 'Stina guitar' etc and this pic only came up on the Spanish site.

I came across lots of pics of (the rather gorgeous) Cecilia Nordenstam, poker pro. Is she a relation? There is a resemblance.

Perhaps Stina is Cecilia....at least we'd know what Stina has been playing at these last few years?

The problem with it being Emma is Alex's 2007 dating. I've seen photos of Emma either side of that date and she's been blonde.
