I had the immense privilege to spend 3 hours taking a walk in the splendorous february winter weather last thursday. The location was J?nk?ping's "V?tterstrand" ... the beach. It's my pleasure to show you this little glimpse of one of my parts of the world.

{17} on a summer morning in 1994, on this very bench, a young boy was found stabbed in the side after a beach party. he still had a beer in his hand. he was only 21 ... it remains a mistery. someday I will write a horribly black and immensely sad song about it ...

very nice daniel, almost like my description of a walk in the park (see stina songtitle thread )but then in the cold of winter... it seems so quiet there, are there so few people out cause it's too cold?

First and foremost: thankyou. Well, it was 9 in the morning ... and that part of town isn't very busy during the winter. I did encounter some people on the beach walk... not all of them ended up on pictures. But just a street from the beach walk, on the main pedestrian street, there were a lot of people that day.

Do you think a little spot of cold would scare off a Swede?

Oh Daniel, it's so beautiful over there! Thanks for sharing! I'd love to come to Sweden again one day, but it has to be winter time...Last time i was there was in May and it was equally beautiful though!
But, you know...a little spot of cold actually can scare off a Greek!
