I added the information about the new Stina album. This was based on comments made by Ian Grenfell. But I have deleted it.

Yeah,like someone edited the Virginia Astley page to the point where they ended up deleting the whole page.

Someone had a bit of fun stirring up Tori fandom recently with an entry on her Wiki page stating the new album was to be called 'Cupcakes of Darkness.'

Thats not a bad title actaully.
Certainly an improvement over most of her album titles.

Oh indeed, she does have a habit of picking the worst titles for her albums, I think I've hated most of them. I tend to make up my own instead. On my planet, Little Earthquakes is called 'Girl', Under The Pink is 'Icicle', Boys For Pele is 'Blood Roses', From The Choirgirl Hotel is 'Black Dove', To Venus and Back is 'Datura'.

I do like the titles Strange Little Girls and Scarlet's Walk, though. I don't care enough about The Beekeeper to make up an alternative title.

What goes for OM SATORI's (look it up! ) album titles goes for her lyrics too.A bit like doing the Times crossword while dipping into The Most Of Virginia Woolf,filtered through True Romance. (Not really,just a windup)
I don't think a huge amount to Stina's album titles either,although they're OK.Have you got a code language for them,BOOTSY? (that's what I'm going to call you from now on,hehe )
Seriously (well,not..) I don't think anyone has topped Captain Beefheart for great album titles.Crazy and very memorable,a bit like the content .
'Ice Cream for Crow','Doc at the Radar Station' ,'Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller)' to cite his last three albums,and of course the one and only 'Trout Mask Replica' which even now John Peel is playing in Heaven .

while it was nice of him to write a song about my visit , beefheart is a very, very acquired taste which i still find unable to develop (sorry dave, spook.. ). but there again, who am i to talk, some of the gubbins i listen too would definitely also fall into the category 'acquired taste'!! The name is blue.

Let's see - I love 'Memories of a Colour' as a title, but if I changed it I'd go for the obvious 'Alone at Night'. ASCHE would be .... 'Fireworks', I think. Seems appropriately Stina-ish in its contrariness. Dynamite would be 'Until', I don't like that song much but it's a brilliant title. PAS is fine as it is. This Is would either be 'Circus' or 'Stations'. I love The World Is Saved as a title, wouldn't change it.

What would an official Stina compilation album be called, I wonder. And isn't it about time there was one?

' EastWest & Independiente execs arguing amongst themselves and with Stina' is probably a realistic title ........even if it would a bit of a mouthful.
