Its ironic just how complacent we are and how we take good health for granted.
Unfortunately the human body is a very complex piece of machinery and so much of it can so easily go wrong at any given time.
Hope you begin to feel better soon Alex.

So sorry to hear that Alex, you seem to have one problem after another don't you? Wasn't it all that long ago you were in having an operation on your leg?
What with the arthritis, the lung infections, stomach problems, leg operations etc, I'm considering booking us a group trip to Lourdes.

we've got quite some illnesses in our small group here, so I guess we're quite normal
I'm not hoping for someone to die before the next album though
How's Stina's health I'm wondering; maybe that could also be reason for delay?

I shortly visited Fatima years ago, can't say it worked...maybe because I didn't pray nor light a candle, I was hanged-over and running to any available wc!

I'd love to go to Lourdes one day, actually, just to watch the procession. It's supposed to be very moving. I'm such a sucker for Catholic theatre, which is what it is, really. I'm sure it's the high emotion of the whole thing that effects any 'cures' that happen there.
One of our neighbours when I was a kid went to Lourdes with a sick relative, and she told us the water 'feels funny'. She described it as being unlike any water she'd previously seen, which I guess demonstrates the power of religious suggestion. Water is water, at the end of the day.
