Clearly I'm not allowed to use my powers for personal gain - I put a precious pound on the lottery on Saturday and didn't even win a tenner.

I've got my rescheduled GP appointment in about half an hour, do you think I should tell her I had a psychic premonition about her on Friday?

Well geez, you guys. I've just spent a good chunk of time reviewing much of this thread, and there was talk of a meeting in April. Then the thread maddeningly jumps from December to May! So, was there a meeting? What happened? Are there photos? Did Stina show up? Is this all classified information??

Good to hear from you again girl, how's the little one doing? He must be getting up a bit now!

I think the thread jump is because I was without 'net access between end of December and mid-May, obviously no-one posted in it during that time.

Some great, great photos in the meet-up threads Angie, I couldn't get to it myself but Dave, Rob, Sara, Alex, Paul and Elfy had a good time by all accounts.

I absolutely love that there was a successful meet-up, with six members! That's awesome. I'll have to track down the photos.

My son is doing great (thanks for asking), and he's almost 2 1/2 now - it boggles my mind. And... I'm expecting #2 in November. I've been given the label of "Advanced Maternal Age", isn't that great? It's okay though, my one ultrasound so far and various blood test have indicating that everything's going well. I see that your daughter is due in the fall, too - congratulations! Here's to fall babies!

I hope that you and Dave and Rob etc. are doing well. I'm friends with a few of the old Stina-ites on Facebook, and it's so cool to see peoples' updates pop up every once in a while. And things are going good here. I feel way behind on, well, everything. Chasing around a toddler is a full time job (in additional to my full time job). I haven't bought new music in forever, but it's okay. I wouldn't trade my life for anything right now.

Fantastic! Hope everything goes swimmingly with baby no. 2, gosh you'll really have your hands full then .... a three year old and a newborn. *gulp* Are you going to keep working as well?

It does just fly by when they're little - you don't realise till you look back, it seems like the blink of an eye. 'How did it go so fast? you'll say as we are looking back, and then we'll understand - we held gold dust in our hands.'

Indeed! She's had a rough first five months or so, but has suddenly aquired the pregnancy bloom - and the boobs. A guy she works with has pleaded with her not to wear a certain dress to work because it's distracting him so much, he spends all day transfixed by her boobs and can't get any work done.

Yep, being a mama will do that to you. It's the best job in the world though, don't you think? Even though it makes you want to tear your hair out some days.

I'm so glad you're happy and William is doing well, look after yourself hon and please pop in here when you get the chance. It's so nice to hear from the old crew.

Sometimes I think we were crazy to want to mess up the nice routine we currently have, but I'm certain it will be worth it (eventually). I do plan to keep working, and my husband might go from working full-time to part-time, while taking care of the kids during the day. I hope that works out, there's so much to think/worry about, strategically and monetarily!

So funny! I'm glad she's blooming. I felt super tired and nauseous for about a month, which just happened to fall on my busiest time at work. And since I hadn't told my boss or coworkers yet I had to just push through it. I guess that's how it goes, but hopefully the bloom is headed my way, too.

I was going to mention before that Christian/Spookrijder and I traded links to Stina videos on Facebook a couple weeks ago. That was a nice blast from the past.

No doubt baby no. 2 will disrupt your routine Angie, but you'll find a new one and it'll all settle down. How interesting that your partner might go part-time and look after them, I think it's great for dads to have the opportunity to do that, not many get the chance I guess.

God, I cannot bear this heat the past couple of days, I want to go and live in an igloo.

Never thought I'd say that after the winter we had.

I've been keeping out of the sun as much as possible,working in the shop yesterday and watching the grand prix and football indoors at home today. The night is the worse though because i just can't sleep properly, the muggy air making me so restless.
I've just involuntarily looked at the gas fire as it feels as if its full on.

Just done a photocall with one of my bands, under lights in a hot room. And we wear black suits. (I'm borrowing this smiley to suggest heat exhaustion).

Nice to see Engerland get stuffed this afternoon. Only I didn't actually watch it. I just hope they don't start the sport Engerland excels at, namely xenophobic violence.

I came out of work yesterday just as the match had finished, had to walk past one of the numerous pubs in town on my way and honestly thought I might get lamped one, there was a big gang of very drunk blokes in England shirts outside the pub, absolutely furious at the defeat - swearing and shouting as if they'd suffered some personal insult. Luckily I walk fast.

Got the week off now so at least I can stay indoors during this heat, I really can't deal with it. The only good thing is that the grass is dry as a bone, which will make it a bit easier to get the garden done.

Feel sorry for my daughter who's now almost six months pregnant, she's just emailed me to say that the heat is making her feel like killing everyone in sight.

Looking forward to the second week of Wimbledon - both Nadal and Federer seemed a bit fragile in the first week, and Andy Murray is in cruise control at the moment. Could be interesting.

Mind you,i feel like killing everyone in sight when tennis is on.

God knows how she's going to cope when we have the annual August heatwave, she'll be eight months by then near enough. Poor thing.

Rob, I've specifically booked this week off work just so I can watch the tennis.
