Hm,that is nice,and topical in the light of the JD film.The late lamented Spook was a big advocate of Susanna.
I find it quite funny that the Magical Orch guy is using a couple of ancient keyboards,a Rhodes and what looks like a DX7,which we were using in the early 80s and in the case of the Rhodes,long before that.
No substitute for quality.

Hardly the greatest song in the world but Nico's a fine singer and the backing was suitably chilling.
Being a fan of This Mortal Coil/The Hope Blister,its easy to see how Nico influenced their music.

I saw her live with her band in October, they were amazing! If you ever have the chance to see her, do!

Also, the single version and Prescilla and the live remix of Sarah are infinitely superior to the versions on the record in my opinion, and i recommend checking them out if you've already got the album.

Really? That's funny, actually she owes me a bunch of tickets from the Lamb era. I wrote them a personal letter years ago and they had promised me free tickets to replace the cancellation of their gig in Glasgow...

Um,I suppose slightly-she's a single Mum,and the place she lives (a big old house) is a kind of community,at least insofar as several families clubbed together to buy it and do it up as separate homes with a couple of big shared spaces.So (I'm guessing) she wanted to be in a supportive type of environment (for a single Mum),slightly off the beaten track (for a somewhat famous musician).She is a Buddhist,too,I think.Whether you think that all makes her 'New-Age hippyish' is a matter of opinion.I think she's probably trying to do the best she can.Actually her rooms/lifestyle have been chosen to appear in a couple of glossy magazine supplements,making her seem more like straight consumer nouveau-riche style icon than hippy to my mind.
I'll ask her about your tickets if I see her again soon! But I don't think Lamb exists anymore,does it?
