I'm surprised the first two sold, actually, unless to former CQD members/readers?

I have two copies, one signed and one unsigned. I had bought one for me and one for my boyfriend.
Edit: my signed book is 10/25.

As the seller has to pay listing fees whether it sells or not, the profit margin must be shrinking considerably.

That was me who bought it. I have not, however, received it. It's apparently lost in the mail. I have no idea where it is.

Thats very disappointing for you but don't give up hope yet,the postal service is a strange beast sometimes with parcels going overseas so it could still turn up, even after five weeks plus.

Yikes. This is why I don't buy off ebay anymore. Did the seller have proof that he'd actually posted it?

Yes,hang in there,Crystallina. Transatlantic parcels,especially surface,can take forever.12 weeks is a safe time to start thinking 'OK where the hell is it?'.What you do need to know is that eBay resolutions need to get cracking long before 12 weeks has elapsed,so start asking the seller for date/time/where posted plus proof; just get talking to them,basically.
I've made upwards of 800 transactions on eBay,buying and selling, and have only ever had one no-show.And whatever happens, there are various avenues of resolution.

Hopefully you paid by paypal which will cover any financial loss although understandably you'd rather have the book turn up.

you may go to the " resolutions center " of paypal and open a dispute to report the issue.

meantime, i suggest you to write to buyer for updates, if he/she doesnt reply, report to paypal / ebay.

No, the seller did everything right. I'm sure this one was my fault -- the address I sent it to had forwarding that, it seems, stopped forwarding. So it could be anywhere.

Hopefully the sender had his return address on the package so it might eventually make its way back to him?
