Those gypsy dresses were very much in fashion about 3 years ago, it fits with the date of the photo. Like I say Rob it doesn't strike me as an unusual outfit for Stina to wear, she has great taste in clothes, a very feminine sense of style but with character, a little bit outre sometimes .... she likes to make a statement with what she's wearing, and if she was on stage I can imagine she might wear something a little flamboyant and romantic like that. It's an absolutely beautiful dress.

I don't think so .... the woman in the second pic has a much squarer face/jawline than the woman above, and none of the 'turkey neck'. Also the hair is different - Lisa has some of her long hair pulled back but even so, you can see it's not as long as the second woman's, and she has a fringe where 'Stina' doesn't.

It will be interesting if the Spanish blogger can add info on the origins of the photo.

no no it's definitely not Lisa Germano, the shape of her face is really different. And she was playing a danelectro baritone guitar, not a fender telecaster.

I hated to use that phrase, but there's really nothing else quite so descriptive! That wrinkly skin is a dead giveaway of someone's age, even if they look facially younger, like Lisa in that photo.

Yeah, if you see pictures of Stina with her hair short she actually has quite a square, masculine type of jaw line, where Lisa I'd say has a rounder face shape.

I've had the photo up on a Kate Bush message board for nearly a day now and no one has come up with a name for the artist.
I suppose its reassuring to know that its unlikely to be anyone famous and instantly recognisable.

Right that's it, I think we should create a website asking all owners of Cannon Powershot cameras where they were on the evening of 12th March 2007.

On what arm does Stina have the dynamite-star tattoo? Her left or her right arm? That might help us determine wether this is her (or not).
