Not much in the way of news but given that her website has been off-line for several weeks,there was always that possibility that she could really have abandoned her music career. But she hasn't which is good to know.

I guess I was spoiled back in the days, discovering Stina in 2000 and then having four albums to go through. And then only one year later - "This Is".

hmm.....nine months on and Stina's holding page at http://www.stinanordenstam.com is still down.

If I may, I would like to make a comparison between Stina and my favorite singer Morrissey.
Recently I found out a similar thing about these two artists: “the ebb".
During 1984-1997 Morrissey made about 8 albums... then, he just disappeared for 7 years.
In 2004 [to present], he resurrected and is at his best. He was about 37 when he just took a brake.
Perhaps a silly comparison, but; if Stinas case is the same [top during 1990-2005], and she is ten years younger than Moz, so maybe it is some kind of a middle-age-thing? It’s not unlikely that she then, eventually, will return stronger than ever.

I do think it’s the opposite. Sooner than we think. She is one of those passionate musicians’. It’s an expression of her life. So she won't fade away, yet.

well its only coming up to five years since the last album so lets hope Stina's audience stays with her until the next album,whenever that might be.
