Ha, another obsessive, you mean! Well, I don't really consider myself a hardcore Toriphile - yes you know the ones I mean, the EWF - but I do adore this woman's music, for the most part. I've loved everything up till The Beekeeper, and I hope the next album is one to cherish again.
I haven't gotten them yet, but probably will someday. Anybody else?
I'll probably buy one of the sets just to have a soundboard recording of the solo version of The Beekeeper. The best performance of that track, judging by the mp3s I've heard, was the very first one in Clearwater. If she puts that out I'll jump at it.
I hope she releases the London show I went to, where she was joined onstage by members of the London Community Gospel Choir. That was an awesome night.

So the next two bootlegs will be Denver and Manchester. Haven't heard any mp3s from Denver as yet, but the Manchester gig had a cover of Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger", and a sweary rant about Morrissey.
Finally got around to borrowing "The Beekeeper" from my local library and i'm pleasantly surprised. Alot of the OTT arrangements in the past are kept in check this time round with the album sounding more "acoustic" and reflective in nature.
Only had the chance to play it three times so far but already "The power of orange knickers" and "Witness" are standing out.
It seems that you are one of the few persons to actually like The Beekeeper. Although it has grown on me, this last album still isn't one of my favourites.
I like Sweet The Sting, Goodbye Pisces and Jamaica Inn.
Hello Paul......yeah,i've still around with only one foot in the grave !!
"The Beekeeper" is nice pleasant background music (and i don't mean that in a negative way) and although its got songs,its effect is similar to listening to instrumental music.....it just creates a postive soothing backdrop for writing/reading with nothing really leaping out as a distraction.
One of my favourate Tori albums i think, joining Little Earthquakes,From The Choirgirl Hotel and To Venus And Back.
Ribbons Undone now emerging as another fave track.
