I love gardens that look a bit wild. Not wild like mine, with 15ft high nettles covering most of the ground, mind.

I'm at my daughter's new house, visiting for the first time now that they've got all the decorating done and the floors sorted etc. I'm very impressed. She's magically become a great little housewife in the past two weeks. Never lifted a bloody finger when she was at home.

Meanwhile I've spent the past fortnight wandering the empty rooms of our little home feeling all forlorn and bereft. This empty nest syndrome thing is real, I've discovered. It's like .... OK, so what is my purpose in life now? I haven't been on my own since I was 16. It's weird.

Perhaps I should start doing all the teenage stuff I missed out on by becoming a mum so young.

Hmm,large portions of my garden are like that.We fight a losing battle against the surrounding woodlands (oh,alright,we just don't do much gardening).Actually my partner doesn't let me do any gardening because I like a bit of order and to be able to walk along the odd path,whereas she likes everything to grow into giant triffids,seemingly.No,I'm unfair,we do like having a wildlife haven.

Two weeks is pretty quick to do all the decorating too...

Yeah,bees would like those flowers 'cos they can only see the colour blue and various shades thereof...

Thanks for the info, i must admit i didn't know that at all.
There certainly seems to be more bees and butterflies and insects in general about this yea than in previous years. I guess the weather / temperature conditions have been kinder this year than in previous ones.

So my dear friends, here I am for an update.
The last two weeks have been delirious, keeping the little one home, bringing and getting the other one, biking... [:xx]
The children have decided to try us, we didn't know wheather to laugh or cry, we decided for the first. Ryuu kept falling and smashed his head agains the airmchair, massive bleeding nose, Iker felll from the bike biting his lips. More scare than anything else, these wonds bleed a lot but heal quickly, but still.... The wound of Ryuu didn't do so well at the beginning, he got pus and high fever, but now it's finally all healing properly again, what an improvement since the stitches are gone!
I feel like I can focus on my work again, at last.

The concert of MBV was great. Nobody had told me they would generate that massive amount of noise, or better, I forgot all I had read about their volumes. Earplugs were obbligatory, which is a pity, but necessary to avoid permanent ear-damage. I took out one every now and then, to hear the real thing, amazing. You made me realise was simply killing, people were covering their ears with earplugs and all, I thought my heart was coming out of my throat, the floow was shaking....I WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN! I was useless at work the morning after, but totally worth it...you can see from the pictures I was stunned (and sweating like a pig!)

Glad you enjoyed your MBV concert .......funnily enough I saw one of their albums in a charity shop the other day for a pound.

Yesterday i was in 'babysitting' mode.....today i am recovering.

The dog is called Tess btw and belongs to my niece, although Tess lives with her parents (my brother and sister-in-law).

I feel all summery today! Just back from the market, it's sunny, blue sky without clouds, constant breeze...lovely! It feels like miniskirts and terrace cockails
My oldest son is with his grandparents, amusement park and all kind of fun stuff, my partner is working at a metal festival and I'm with Ryuu and the cats, very relaxed. His finger is almost whole again, the nail is falling off as predicted. Tomorrow the first BBQ of the season, I'm loving this week-end

Yes,when he wants to be put down he certainly lets you know.

Its lovely and sunny here in the UK as well.....well,in Essex anyway.

EHEH Robbiero, wearing linnen trousers at the moment, but I will take pix next time I wear a skirt ok? I hope to be back in shape in a year or so [rolling] But I can put in recent photo on, taken during my holidays in Rome.
My little Attila is also sleeping, I'm devouring a tomato-salad and I hope I can review one record and tidy up the livingroom before he starts screaming for attention.
How old is Connor? He's so tall!
