Desire Avenue

Well, I have to admit that when I filled up this morning, it was the first I've had to so since the middle of January. I don't really do a lot of milage these days, opting instead for public transport. The £3.20 return ticket into town by bus I get refunded by my shop so I do save some money there. Most of my holidays are by coach and trips into London are by train.

Still, its very convenient to have a car and i guess thats what I'm paying for (approx £750 a year to run it, what with tax, insurance, servicing, fuel etc). Its there should I need it.

I stumbled upon some really hilarious pictures of women struggling to drink water. Also very strange is a set of pictures of women laughing alone while eating a salad.

And then in the category of things you ask yourself of who would buy this: a japanese fastfoodkit.

I think the water ones are some kind of wet t-shirt/male facial fantasy, aren't they?

That fast food thing is disgusting. I wonder how many food additives and weird chemicals are involved, let alone the packaging. I could make a nourishing meal of much more substantial quality and quantity in half the time it took to assemble that.

Has anyone heard from Beth? I know her access to the Internet is spotty, but it seems like she's been quiet for quite a while.

Her last login was on the 1st of march. That's quite a while ago. I haven't got a working e-mailadress of Beth. Anyone else here who has a clue how to contact her? Just to check if everything is okay...

I know that Beth no longer has an email at home, nor any internet.
I do have a mobile number for her which she gave me not long back, so I'll give her a ring/leave a message from everyone.

Had a quick chat with Beth just now-she was at work and I'm about to go and teach at school-enough to discover that she is fine.
The PC she uses for messaging here, at her daughters, is out of action, hence the no news.
I sent her best wishes from everyone.
