Hi, I'm a new member on this forum.
Does anyone know when Stina recorded "Sov du lilla videung"? (about what year). I'm interested in any information about that recording, including the mysterious "'My Father's Films". Hardly anything on the internet about this.

Also, I wonder about Radio documentary "Och dom förföljer en" When it was made etc.

(NB Alex- the 'Search' function on this site is crap-if you put 'Sov du lilla ' in it,it doesn't produce the above page.I've noticed it before with other things.You have to search the forums manually.)
There's some more info about it round here somewhere,or it might have been on the old board.Give me a bit of time and I'll see what I can find...

If David Osterberg was the producer then I guess it was probably recorded between 2001/ -Sept 2002 when David and Stina were working on 'The World Is Saved'.

Thanks for this information. Before I posted the message, I also searched the forum for "Sov du lilla videung" - with no hits, so I guessed that nothing was written about it yet.

A little bit more info on 'Sov Du Lilla Videung'......it was written by Swedish music teacher (composer/organist) Alice Tegner (12/03/1864 - 26/05/1943)

well at least now I know why i wasn't finding anything when using the 'search' option; I was sure there were old topics about things....
The forum is great by the way; the search funtion is just not functioning...

I wish I could fix the search feature, but as far I know it's not possible...

I've found some more information about this piece. The 3 minutes long film in which Stina's singing "Sov du lilla videung" is called "Pia (My sister)". It is the first part of a couple of short films Ulf Rollof made as part of a project called 'No Picnic' in Gothenburg, Sweden 2003-01-15. The film is about the artist's sister that died when the artist was a child. Photo by the artist's father. Songs by Stina Nordenstam. Sound by David Österberg. You can watch the film at Ulf Rollof's website.

Now on YT courtesy of 'the bands', who seems to be shoving a lot of Stina related material up on the site in recent months.
