Desire Avenue

Had a card from Witchy today, she had her second child on 11th October - I *think* it's another little boy and they've called him Ryuu, a brother for Iker. The announcement card is in Italian and Dutch, so here's the wording in case I've got it wrong -

Con l'arrivo del mio fratellino RYUU non c'e limite all'orizzonte delle nostre superavventure!

Mijn broertje RYUU is klaar Om de wereld in te vliegen op zoek naar mooie avonturen!

That was fast Liz, my family hasn't received the card yet , I'm so happy it was you to give the announcemente first
Yes indeed Ryuu is the little brother of Iker and thank god this time it was a natural delivery. Way too late, 41 weeks and 4 days but ridiculously quick. He decided not to ruin his pap's bday and came out the day after He's long and even bigger than Iker, he's getting weight on very fast too, so nothing to worry on this sense.
I feel totally different than after Iker, I'm already almost 100% physically recuperated. I will have to wait 6 weeks to start doing all the heavy chores I used to, but I can't complain. Of course my hormones are a mess, so I have my blues and I am terrified about when I will be home alone with the two kids , but I try not to do it too often and enjoy my sweet bundle of joy
Iker has been incredibly accepting, curious and sweet with the baby, but he's also a bit acting out, being a bit wilder than usual (didn't think that was possible) and not wanting to sleep some nights, coming out of his room during hours...it breaks my heart to hear him so distressed , I hope it's temporary.

Honey, so long ago...
It also feels like a happy family and the little one keeps growing at lightspeed, but he's some gastric problems, has to take meds, has problems sleeping, sometimes I am soooo tired and sleep-deprived I almost see things.. But I love him, so that's how it works, I let him enslave me so far... [b)]

I'm so sorry for my everlasting absence, I'm really just an useless friend. But i do care about most of you, for real.
It's just that unemployment tis making me feel really low and i don't feel for anything like i used to.
Life got the best of me, i guess. Batteries are often empty.
