My company went out of business last week (my boss was so bad at managing a company !) so I'm working hard on my CV to translate it.
And it's a very hard work
So if someone could send me a real CV so it may help me to make mine.
Also, I need people to read & correct mine (I'll PM it).

What else ? Is there a difference in diplomas between England and Ireland ?

This would really really help me !

I'll send you my CV in the next days.

I have technical diplomas in electricy, electronic and computers but the english scholar system is so different than ours so it's not easy to translate the diplomas.
For now I try to describe my career the best way but I don't really know if I only have to translate it or to really adapt it to a different way of thinking.

The more I work on my cv the more I think it will be very hard for me to find a job in an english speaking country

I'm afraid I havn't had to to apply for a job for near on twenty years so i'm not going to be of any help.
I've never done a CV.....in fact,I never even bothered with application forms either.
It was always phone calls and face-to-face interviews.

yep,one door closes,another door opens.

I worked the whole day on my english CV and it's like 70% done !

One thing i'm not really sure about the translation so help needed !

Call it 'Customer relations officer',sounds better

Personally I would re-write the above as:

As manager of my supermarkets after-sales service,I was responsible for organizing our 'returns' policy and meeting our customers needs.

..or something like that.

Hmmm......how about 'Crap Product Swapper' ?

I can't speak for the UK, but in Ireland a Diploma is a qualification one step lower than a full university degree. Usually a 1 or 2 year course, and more practically- or professionally-oriented. It can lead to a degree with additional 1 or 2 years study.
