I thought I'd just post to say I've posted. So that's the '1'.

I've posted too, so that's 2! I don't have time these days to post as much, ah well...

I'm not reading or writing as much as I used to. Guess I'm one of those visitors which really needs the stina-related news to be coming back here. But this is 3.

Ok my friends, I will try to post something just to catch up with all of you. I don't really know why we are not posting that much anymore, but I personally have 0 personal time. Last year has been simply maddening, finding out I was pregnant when I just managed to show what I was worth at work and getting pneumonia at the same time, coming back to work to have no position anymore and before I knew it, it was time to deliver again. And this second child has just blown my life away, I have been so committed to taking care of him and he's had it so difficult getting used to life outside the womb that I have ended up with a kind of breakdown. I was emotionally strained and physically exhausted. And to think that I had it all arranged to stay home longer this time and enjoy my baby growing! I have come back to work this week, at the beginning only half days. It's much harder than I thought, too many new faces, will have to start all over again to find my spot and, worst of it all, my little circle of spanish-mexican friends has disintegrated: one has changed dept., the other won't come back to work after her pregnancy leave, another has become our boss and of course she doesn't come down to lunch with us anymore and we can't talk to her the same way, the other one is already looking for another job and is ready to leave for a good opportunity...this is the last drop for me, the fun we had together was really the main reason for me to stay in that place...I feel totally screwed over. [b)]
I keep checking the board and all of you regularly, I just don't have nothing nice to add.

Sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time again, Sara. Life hasn't been very easy for you at all these past few years. However, you have two healthy children and a partner to share life's troubles with, which is more than some folk are blessed with in this life.

Well the only thing stopping me posting much for the time being is that I can barely make out anything on my busted screen, as you know. I was hoping to get a new separate monitor this week, but life has taken a somewhat unexpected turn and the money I'd set aside has had to be used for something more necessary. Hopefully though I'll be posting regularly again in the near future.

unfortunately the world keeps turning and time doesn't stay still and eventually all things change and will pass away.
Try and keep positive,count your blessings and remember,'life is full of opportunities' ......oop's,slipped momentarily into V mode there.

Actually,I'd normally agree with you but that photo of Stina is worth the price of the mag alone.
Shame she's not featured every month though.

Still,at least we now know why page 99 has been torn out of the Q mag at your local newsagents?

It really is a lovely picture though, quite the nicest one I've seen of non-disguised Stina. She should do that kind of thing more often.

As for Q ... *sigh* I still remember when it was essential reading. It all went downhill sometime around '93, when it became infested with New Laddism. Editorial substance was rapidly replaced by lifestyle 'attitude' at that point.

It is a very lovely photo indeed....she looks so young.....although it will probably turn out that it was taken last year.
Strange however that she doesn't look particularly like that early passport/driving licence photo thats been around for years though?

I seldom buy Q these days but instead scan the 'album reviews' (which are still quite useful) in the newsgents.........so you're not the only one.
