I mean Anna Ternheim's latest album is out in November and she sent updates on the release date even though it's not fully recorded and there isn't a single yet but she gave a date.

I wish Stina would be a little informative once a while.

...i'm just hoping that the wait will be worth it as she spectular appears from nowhere to surprise us...

That is sad to hear Kuhn. Of course there's still another informative fansite (stinanordenstam.net) but that site doesn't have all the information that your site has.

I thought about creating a Stina site quite a few times. But it just doesn't make sense without any news, does it? Because I still think this forum should be connected to a stina website again.

I think she's ventured from enigmatic to thoughtless. Even Kate Bush fans got snippets and updates during the 10 year gap. If she wants to sell records she's really off in the wrong direction...

I am also now questioning whether she was all just a dream, a magical and very realistic one at that.

Especially as I don't have the wake-up call that she's real or proof because she's never played on the radio and no-one else around me knows what I'm talking about.

I mean I'm sorry to say that I have gone off her a bit with their lack of information and have starting venturing back into listening to Bjork's music every day, I mean her website is always updated.

hell yes. she can sure churn out albums can't she? i found out how great Separation Road: Naked Versions was a long time after i got the original, it's a completely new album, and just as good. Everything on the Anna Ternheim EP and Psychotic Lovers EP was brilliant as well.

It's great to know you like her too. She is one my favourite artists. Just because her music is relaxing at times ("you mean nothing to me", "Black Widow", "such a lonely soul" and imagnative in others "To Be Gone", "French Love","One To Blame"- I love the fact it was influence by nosferatu). Both her two albums are faultless and including the naked versions which you forementioned. And she has a hell of a voice! Completely gifted!

I live England but order her albums on import as she is hugely overlooked over here and they don't know what they're missing. She's massive in Sweden rightfully.

I thought her Fyfe Dangerfield duet would get her into UK markets through The Guillemots fanbase as well but nothing happened.

Can't wait till November for her new album!

If youpeople are gonna give up on Stina just cos shes being silent and doing what she wants to do ,then i doubt she gives a fuck.Go follow Anna Shiteheim and Boringorjk.

No way am I going to give up on Stina-I do find that trend to be utterly mysterious.
One part of me feels very concerned for her. She has said in several interviews that she has been diagnosed as borderline psychotic; she has genuine problems remembering things; she finds a lot of 'normal' activity to be very alien. She has no manager or spokesperson; her record company (V2) is having problems. etc etc
And apart from the odd appearance here,we have no inkling of her existence or wellbeing.
There's no reason that she needs my concern,of course; but I'd just like to know that she was finding some creative fulfilment,and not being totally frustrated in having an outlet for her creativity.

Wow and when I first joined this place, people said that it was a nice small community with all friendly people. But that dosen't seem to be the case. I thought well I belong here because I share a similar cult interest as you but was also born with an opinon. I know that opinon includes impatience. I'm an impatient person, yes, I know that, it's part of my personality but I also care alot about Stina enough to keep going on this forum to find out what's going on with her, would I do that if I didn't care?
