I can't get to www.stinanordenstam.com any more,network Timeout.
Can anyone else get it?
I think it's died of cramp,doing zilch for so long.

the hosting server (www.elitehost.dk located in Danemark) doesn't reply, but no changes has been made on the domain name since last year. so Stina may need to call billing dept

At long last ....some excitement ......... Stina's website has gone belly up.

I wondered why the site was online all that time. I really think that we need to build a fansite with a couple of people here, nice forum, complete discography, lots of reviews, pictures and of course this forum. Anyone up for it to build it with me? I'm willing to pay the costs of registering a domainname and hosting.

Only Stina isn't.

There is still Kuhn's Desire Avenue site & the Canadian .net site,both of which link the forums to here.

Before you guys get carried away and put in a lot of site building work (which I'm useless at btw ), it needs to be asked.......does there need to be another Stina fan site on the internet?

You're right Rob, the question is indeed if we need one. I think we do for several reasons:
1. Kuhn recently posted somewhere that he was taking his site offline. This would mean that a lot of information and material would be lost;
2. StinaNordenstam.net contains mainly reviews and interviews from 2001 and later. The periode before that isn't represented on that site;
3. In my opinion, sorry Kuhn and Ateesh, the design can be done better and more accessible.

assuming Kuhn does remove his site (and I do remember the post you mentioned) then your reasoning for creating a new site is totally sound.

Perhaps I can contribute ideas?

And of course I can bring design/technical help (webdesigner is my job).
To create a website is a huge work and to feed it too; and it costs money. I really think we need to know if it's a Stina museum or if her music career is going on.

I would be really up for it. But I guess the question asked by Rob isn't really answered. Is there a public for stina's music. As for a webarchive or an ongoing site, I'm still hoping to see a new release by stina someday.

they wouldn't do that if the project was definitely scrapped, would they?

I've just counted the stars surrounding the 'Coming Soon' section and there's now an extra one which obviously explains why the holding page was temporarily removed.

Now what can this mean?

Yes, it's true that the world needs a more comprehensive fansite for Stina... also includes a music library of her unreleased tracks, remixes, and b-sides. No matter if there will be new material from Stina, I WANT the site to be some kinda MUSEUM to tribute one and only STINA!!!
I am willing to contribute and work with you for the site. I am a DJ in Hong Kong, and have an web-based programer to assist. I can contribute to scan her three books - Dynamite Books & CQD, and convert the video This Time, John for site... how does it sounds???
