Patrick McGoohan has died

One of my all time heroes, Patrick McGoohan, has died,aged 80, following a short illness.

If there was one person in the world that I wished I could have met then it would have been Patrick McGoohan.
How strange that he should pass away just months before the showing of the recent re-make of his famous 'The Prisoner' tv series?

Rob, I just saw this news on Google and immediately thought of you.
I still have only seen one episode of this show, but would love to see more.

Yeah, I heard the news and thought-RobB will be upset.
So they're going to show it again? It's a great bit of 60s style.

Yep, same for me, a sad news. He's now a completely free man, I guess.

What saddens me particularly was that there was beggar all about Patrick's death on the tv news.
At least I didn't see anything on the news or haer anything on the radio for that matter.
Quite shameful really.

It seems that here in France, TV and radio announced the news... didn't hear it, though.
