It's rather naughty.
It's rather hedonistic.
It's rather violent.
It's rather controversial.
It's rather good.
Anyone else seen this stereotypical girls holiday to Spain gone very very badly wrong? It's split the majority of people who have seen it into 2 camps, loved it, despised it. I rather liked it, if nothing else it is filmed beautifully, but I loved how it took the whole young persons alcohol, drug and sex fuelled holiday with friends and showed how easily a bit of fun can go so wrong. It examines the bonds of friendship when tested with right and wrong and the impact the wrong decision can make on everyone immediately around them.
I will warn you, the film is very explicit and very violent at times and well and truly earns it's 18 certificate.
Another added bonus is the soundtrack is fantastic filled with great Warp Records artists (The film was produced by Warp Films). Also of interest it has Ray Winstone's daughter Jamie in it.
