Please do, Beth.
And, after the whole Cambridge Analytica scandal, I've decided to quit Facebook. So maybe this board is up for a comeback.

Good move, Paul. I have never trusted FB, so I have an almost non-existent presence there .... Stinaesque, you might say . Have several times been tempted to join the Stina community on FB but held out, and now it seems to be moribund anyway.
I'd be interested to know if and how you have managed to totally extricate yourself from FB...

I did quite a bit of reading up on the Cambridge Analytica thing a while back, thanks, ironically, to a post my dear nemesis Spook put up on Facebook. Very fascinating and scary reading.
I recently deleted my personal account on there as well Paul, although I have one still for my work. I think more and more people are just abandoning FB for multiple reasons, not just political.
You could be right, maybe forums will make a comeback!
Ice, you were the one most tender with the rivers.
You, the roof of the waves, layer after layer after layer ...
I believe in your smile everyday
But I know that you're far from my way
When I talk to the moon I can hear you

Not yet Dave, I've been going back and forth a lot this year but for the moment, still waiting for the right opportunity to move back.
I eventually found Robin by the way, or should I say he found me, six months after I received the message. It's an interesting and poignant story, but maybe I'll tell you by PM.

Crikey, a reply in real time!! Can this board handle the pace?
I'm good Dave, how are you doing? I'm still in England, but think I *may* be getting back home in the spring next year. Lots to get through before then, but I'm hopeful.
I've been going to Arran a bit over the past year, have you been there? I was kind of …. directed there, I'm told it may be a regular part of my life once I'm back home. Magical place actually, great for reconnecting with nature and faith.

Shall we try to meet up here more often, to start with?
That worked out well.
Hey everyone, whoever is left here these days. *waves* Hope you're all well.
