The unofficial Facebook group for Stina now has 900 members which I find quite heartening. Unlike MySpace where people sign up as 'friends' mainly to advertise their own work,joining a facebook group has no real advantage other than to show interest in the artist concerned and connect with other fans.
Admittedly the Facebook boards are even quieter than this one but still, its good to know that Stina has guaranteed the sale of 900 copies for her next album.

Mmmm,I think Facebook is still largely vacant posturing,adding things obsessively.I don't suppose many of those people are really passionate about Stina's work.

I do get the impression that most members once joined forget all about it and never return.

Before the 'barbie board' Stina did use a kind of dialogue board (sorry,can't think what the site was called now) where she use to enter into discussions or at least offered her opinions on various subjects.
Ten years on,the 'networking' set-up is far more advanced so I agree,hopefully she will use this method to promote her work.
