Picked up a copy of the 'Ask The Mountains' cd single this morning for 50p at my local Cash Converters shop.

Anyone else bought a Stina related item recently,and if so, did you get a bargain?

Since I’m kind of a new collector/stina nordenstam listener I bought the "People Are Strange" album in a record shop last week... of course a beautiful piece of art... but unfortunate not a bargain.
It was at 150 swedish Kr… I think that’s about 11 £? Still - great music

I picked up the 'STINA' version of MOAC from eBay a few weeks back,for £1.What's more,it doesn't have a cutout/deletion hole through 'Stina' which most every copy seems to.So real Stina completist stuff,but at the price,that doesn't bother me.

In many ways I really envy you. I sometimes wish I was new to Stina's music and could go through all the excitement of searching and finding all her previous releases.

The drawback of being 'up todate' is that there's nothing much left to collect or to do,other than to wait around for years for the next album and its associated collectables.

That was a good bargain,I missed that one completely.

I recently bought the Lori Glory and Sharon and Hope singles because they were so cheap. Both versions contains just the original track so I't just for the artwork that I bought it. I really love the artwork for the This Is Stina Nordenstam album. Those are my favourites artworkwise.

Yes,I did much the same ,Paul.I hate Lori Glory as a piece of music,but I love the artwork.Hmm,idea for a thread (we could do with some new ones).

Know what you mean,RobB,only I would think it's far harder than even 3-4 years ago. Nobody's selling much because of CC; interest in Stina has waned considerably; the chance of getting hold of non-album tracks is much less because there's precious little fansite activity; and such things as the PAS promo with the wraparound poster/the This Is cheesebox/the Yello remixes/ and some of the singles seem to have become incredibly rare. What's more,the asking price for albums that used to be common has shot up-such as PAS above.
There's now only about three or four Stina items that I'm looking out for,bar new stuff. I've never seen any of them on offer,anywhere.

OMG Rob, as if you had ANY chance of getting hold of the boots before me. As soon as my kontakt in Stockholm has successfully knocked Stina out with ether and located the Seekrit Boot Storage Facility in her apartment, they're MINE I TELL YOU, MINE!11!!

Well Beth,if i did get the boots and wigs as a job lot, I'd give you first refusal on the boots,after i'd made a small profit naturally. [angel]

Some how i don't think they'd fit my size 9 feet anyway.
