I wish I could get over my dislike of Antony's voice, coz I think he's amazing and his first album is a thing of stunning beauty. It's just the voice. Bit like with Joanna Newsom.

It's nice but I don't like how he's changed the phrasing of the notes in the chorus. It sounds like he's in a rush and trying to sing ahead of the band.

I think he's done a fantastic job with it, myself. He's an incredible talent, I *love* his musical sensibility. He seems a remarkable person too, such an interesting and unusual mind. I'd be all over it except that I just can't quite embrace the voice. Strange because I'm usually into characterful voices.

Paul, I think you've succeeded in converting me to Antony with this track! I could not stop listening to it after you originally posted it, and the more I listened the more I adjusted to the voice. Thank you!

Really nice mixture of his aching voice and beautiful orchestration (sounds like slightly distilled Phillip Glass c. 1980)

I've been listening to his 'I Am A Bird Now' album recently which is pretty good.

'I Am A Bird Now' is amazing, he is actually a kind of genius, I think.
His orchestration of Crazy in Love is just stunning - simple, subtle but it effectively transforms an upbeat R+B dance song into something quite unearthly. I've actually cried listening to it, just for how beautiful it is. It's been a long time since any artist working in the rock/pop sphere had that effect on me.
