Desire Avenue

I just watched the Machinist over the weekend.
it was so gritty, and the music fit so perfectly...that my friend fell asleep next to me, watching the main character wrestling with his insomnia and his demons...anybody else fell asleep watching this?

i thought some of the images were quite poignant..but the ending was an anticlimax and felt derivative.

I really want to see this film, saw the trailer on the net and it looked very impressive. It seems that Australia is rubbish at getting films until they have been out in every possible country (including Svalbard, Antarctica (hello V.) and Kerguelen). [b)]

Hoping it comes out on DVD somewhere soon, fingers crossed!!!!!!!!
