OMG, I saw that on the news the other night. WOW.

I'd hate to be an asthmatic trying to go outside in that. According to the news report the Australian government was advising people with lung conditions to stay indoors, which is kind of scary.

Thank you all, sorry I'm so late in replying. I've been away for quite some time, I've basically been very unwell for the last few months with kidney problems as well as acute colitis. I actually almost spent my birthday in hospital, ending up in A&E the day after for 13 hours while the gastro and surgical dept bickered with each other about my condition.

I'm sort of back on my feet now, though am on a ridiculous amount of tablets and probably one more attack away from a bowel resection, so I'll be popping by a bit more.

How is everyone else?

Well i've had a rotten cold this last week but thats nothing compared to the misery you've had to put up with Daniel. I wish you a speedy return to good health soon.

Good lord Daniel, you've certainly gone through it haven't you. Poor love. I hope things start to look up for you healthwise, I know how miserable it can make you feel dealing with chronic health issues. Rest up and look after yourself.
