The album is called The World Is Gone, and it is one of the most magnificent albums I have literally ever heard. It is a combination of very unusual electronica, almost abrasive in places BUT spliced with the most utterly gorgeous, authentic English folk music that literally borders on downright spooky. The band are deliberately annonymous, I have hunted high and low for details on the female singer, whom sounds not unlike All About Eve circa Martha's Harbour. The male singer, whom only appears occasionally, sounds like Jamie Lidell around the Super Collider era.

Needless to say I am in love with this album, it's just hauntingly beautiful, very much in a similar way to Kelli Ali's marvellous Rocking Horse album.
