Desire Avenue

I can't remember wether there are Sigur Ros fans on this board. I haven't got any albums from that band because I found the sound of the music rather depressing. But I did love the voice of the leadsinger Jonsi. He has now released a solo-album and to my surprise it's mostly upbeat and happy music.

This is the first album I bought in a long time.... I sometimes even thought that my emotional click with music had gone. But after listening to Jonsi all week, I know it is still there. I just need to find the right soundtrack for my own mind.

So, are there more Sigur Ros or Jonsi fans on this board?

Its funny because i have several Sigur Ros albums but have never listened to them much so i can't really call myself a fan.
From memory,I couldn't really distinguish one album from the other as they all seem to sound much the same.
But I'll definately have to make time to play them again.
